Itinerary 1 - A Taste of Corsica

1 WEEK / 6 NIGHTS (22-hour navigation) 

Ever since France won control of Corsica from Genoa, it has had a complicated relationship with this fiercely independent Mediterranean island, located some 80 miles from its southern shore. Corsica has the power to surprise you. Rocky and mountainous by reputation, it is also gloriously green, with two-thirds of this other ‘emerald isle’ given to national parks. The Corsican’s approach to looking after their island’s natural resources ensures a pristine environment for exploring. The landscape’s flora, fauna and forests will delight your senses. The snow-capped peaks in Spring will melt your heart. And away from Mother Nature you can actively participate in some serious sunbathing, sightseeing, shopping and serendipity.




DAY 1: Departure from Porto Cervo with a stop in La Maddalena Archipelago for lunch on board. Visit to beaches according to the weather and arrival in Bonifacio port, overnight. Dinner at the restaurant in Bonifacio.

Day 2: Departure from Bonifacio to Lavezzi and Cavallo Islands, stop at anchor for lunch on board. Later we will head North and along the East coast to the bays of Santa Manza and Santa Giulia. In the afternoon arrival in Porto Vecchio and overnight. Dinner at the Restaurant in Porto Vecchio.

Day 3: Departure from Porto Vecchio and return to the South, stop at Punta Sperone. Possible Golf session during the anchor. Night at anchor close to Gulf of Figari or in the Gulf of Valinco in Propriano. Dinner on board.

Day 4: We depart heading La Girolata, where we have a stop for lunch on board. In the afternoon navigation towards Calvi with stop at Piana. Arrival at the port, city tour and dinner at the restaurant in Calvi.

Day 5: Visit the city up to the fort. Departure to Ajaccio with stop for a swim and lunch on board. Arrival to Ajaccio port, overnight. Dinner at the restaurant in Ajaccio.

Day 6: City tour and the Napoleon Museum. Departure towards the South with route to the islands of Lavezzi and Cavallo. Overnight at the port in Cavallo Island, dinner on board.

Day 7: Return to Porto Cervo for the landing of the guests. Transfer to the airport / hotel.
